Half Machine Lip Moves Episode 42: 5/27/2018

This episode started with two blocks of industrial and EBM, including a few new artists OT found recently. Then, because it's Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of the summer season, we had a summer-themed set of industrial, post-punk, and experimental. There was also an experimental avant-garde set, and in the final hour we went into a spacey cosmic direction. Are you still reading this? I don't know how to describe my show most of the time.

HMLM is Back on iTunes and the New Privacy Notice

It took long enough, but the podcast RSS feed has been updated and the show is back on iTunes and Google Play Music, and up-to-date with the most recent episodes!

Also, you may have noticed the new privacy at the bottom of the screen. Google/Blogger kept harassing me, telling me I was required to add a notice about cookies in order to comply with European Union law, yet provided zero advice whatsoever on what I had to do to keep myself from getting banned, arrested, or sued by the EU and the only option seems to be to lawyer up—which is a very unaffordable option for this me—or block all EU countries from accessing the site (which I don't know how to do).

For the record, there are no ads on this site, unless Google/Blogger suddenly decide to slap ads on it, and I'm not using third-party analytic services. I don't spy on the site's vistors, nor am I collecting personal data about you and sharing or selling it.

Half Machine Lip Moves Episode 41: 5/20/2018

This episode leaned heavy on no wave/noise rock, as we paid tribute to the late Glenn Branca. We started with some of the recent works by The Body; then we paid tribute to the late Glenn Branca by playing two sets of his work; did a focus on Neutral Records label; then we played a set of noise rock/no wave; and closed with a block of heavy psychedelic rock.

Half Machine Lip Moves Episode 40: 5/13/2018

Our friend and regular listener Jason in South Carolina requested a bunch of songs and thus deserves credit for at least half of this episode. (Thanks Jason!)

In this show, we started with a moody post-punk set; then we played a set in tribute to the late Chu Ishikawa of Zeitlich Vergelter and Der Eisenrost; then we played a set in honor of Marco Corbelli (Atrax Morgue/Mörder Machine/Kranivm/Slaughter Productions label); then we played a set of psychedelic noise, and two blocks of Japanese psychedelic rock.

Half Machine Lip Moves Episode 39: 4/29/2018

What can I say about this episode? It was thrown together at the last minute and it felt off. But the show had to go on, so we heard a song by Michael Berdan's (York Factory Complaint/Uniform) new project; a set of noisy robotic disco power noise; industrial metal; heavy glacially-paced metal; then we closed with a spacey set featuring Coil and Outer Space.
